1. Reel Toys (Neca, 2002-current)- they talked about their "insane" array of licenses from Nightmare before Christmas to hellraiser to A Christmas Story, the intensity of Brandon Lee's eyes in the Crow figure, and the upcoming Sin City and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy lines.

i hate how toyfare kisses so many companies asses. i like neca stuff but to say its better than mcfarlane is ridiculous. maybe if there comparing mcfarlanes first movie maniacs to necas current figs.

Here's what they said about McF's MM:

I still think McF is ahead of NECA in terms of sculpts... but I am being drawn towards Mezco figs and think they are really kicking ass. The Hellboy figs are top notch.

Of course I do tend to buy only movie related figures and aside from Robocop and the Alien figs last year, that was all McF offered me.... that I was interested in.

i do honestly think Reel does a very good job of sculpting....and then proceeds to paint them with a fucking broom.

I read that... I too was surprised to see them mention McF... and then when I saw who they put them 3rd too... I think maybe it was a hidden insult...

they do have some good paints, but ya gotta look for 'em.
took me a while to find a Wire Twin that wasn't screwed up.
although that was the only one I had a problem with.

OOPS!
that's not true. I had the same issue with Wulv from Winston's BloodWolves line, which NECA handles.
